Trinity triple detector installed on Shimadzu GPC system.

Closely cooperation with Shim-Pol, strategic partner for Shimadzu in Poland, our technical team recently installed a Trinity triple detection system including advanced MALS, Viscosity and DRI detectors. The research institute that took delivery of a Shimadzu Nexera GPC System and TESTA Analytical Trinity triple detection system plans to investigate a full range of natural and synthetic materials with the aim of obtaining new insights on new and well-known composites. The installation included extensive training on instrument use and data interpretation. All involved scientists trained on the system were impressed by its outstanding performance coupled with simplicity of operation.

Accurate molecular weight determination made simple.

Designed for educational facilities or labs running smaller number of samples, our pre-aligned BI-MwA light scattering detector enables people with little or no training to quickly and accurately determine the absolute average molecular weight of almost any macromolecule. To use, simply inject your sample into the low-volume, 7-angle flow cell. The integral high-sensitivity, low-noise CCD detector automatically collects the scattered light. Intuitive software then extrapolates the data to zero angle to deliver precise molecular weight data.

They recently reported how determining an accurate value for specific refractive index increment (dn/dc) is essential in molecular weight determination of biopolymers and polymers by light scattering.
